The theme of this activity in Weekend Reading Club is the Dragon Boat Festival.
The Dragon Boat Festival ,also called the Duanwu Festival ,is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar.People always eat Zongzi- a traditional Chinese rice-pudding to celebrate it.
We invited some foreign friends here to learn how to make and eat Zongzi and talk about what they know and think about the Dragon Boat Festival !
And we also invited some teachers from the Ancient Books Department
of Qingdao Library to show us Rubbing-an old printing skill in ancient China.
